New as of Feb 2012: FAIR's West Kootenay Boundary Regional Crisis and Information line is pleased to be part of the new "Interior Crisis Line Network, West Kootenay Boundary Region". This is a new network of 5 Crisis Lines now working together to better serve the entire Interior Health Region. Most local callers will still talk with a local crisis line worker, but if the line is already busy, calls will be routed to another crisis line which will have staff with all the training and information necessary to properly serve the caller.
The WKB Crisis and Info line also offers the innovative "Reaching_Out"_ workshops. Click the blue link for more details on this popular classroom and professional development tool.
