| Description: | Call 250-256-3318 for a direct line to an Employment Counsellor. Office open: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 12 Noon; 1 to 4:30pm. Provides employment and vocational counselling, referral to training, Employment Insurance information, application and other services for job seekers and Canada Job Bank referrals for employers. Directs employers and job seekers on how to access Federal and Provincial job strategy programs and support funds. Provides career information to students, unemployed persons, and those seeking new skills. Eligible individuals may be able to access HRDC's Skills Development Employment Benefits through this office. Administers Orientation Sessions for the Ministry of Employment and Assistance (MEIA) Services.
