Description:An in-school program offered in the Greater Trail area by the Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy (CBAL) in cooperation with School District No. 20 - Kootenay-Columbia.

Trained volunteers provide structured tutoring for elementary level students who would benefit.

Emphasis placed on building the child's self-confidence, developing problem solving skills and providing one on one reading practice.

A 3 hour tutor training program is offered several times a year and on-going support to tutors provided.
